Behind the Blog
Hey there! I’m Charlotte and I’m a mom to two little bears, and a teacher.
I hold a degree in education and have also trained with Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) to obtain diplomas in 3 to 6 (Children’s House) and in 12 to 18 (Ërdkinder).
I’ve been working in a multilingual international Montessori school for the past 8 years, mostly with late-elementary school and seconday school students.
At home, we are raising our little ones in a bilingual (nearly trilingual) environment. My eldest attends a Montessori school and we do our best to extend the pedagogy and philosophy at home as well.
A Family Montessori Blog
I initially created @littlemontessoribears on Instagram as a page where I can share what Montessori elements we implement at home and to connect with like-minded families.
With time, and with our second little bear on the way, I realised I wanted to expand Little Montessori Bears into something bigger. That’s where the idea for this blog was born. I wanted it to become a place where I can share my knowledge, experience and keep a sort of online journal for our family.
I look forward to sharing our journey with you and see what this blog grows into.
