Some weeks ago I had a conversation with a fellow parent, who is also expecting, and she mentioned to me that she’d always had to piece together from scratch anything Montessori that she wanted to implement for her baby at each week of its development.

Having studied Montessori’s work and applied many of the pedagogy’s principles, continuously researched activities over the years and tried them out with my little one in his first 2 years of life, I feel like I can share what I know and experienced. So, I’ve decided to make a series on this blog called “Montessori Baby from 0 to 52 Weeks“, in which I share what can be introduced to your little one in a way that is developmentally appropriate, by week, and share the resources that I’ve appreciated myself.

What’s more, is that I’ve got a second little one on the way! Therefore, I’ll be revisiting many of these concepts and I’ve decided that when little one arrives I’d like to create a sort of audio diary in which I share what I’ve implemented, or haven’t, what is going well, what’s difficult, and any other impressions and thoughts I’d like to share around motherhood each week. This will become a weekly audio diary that I hope will accompany other young parents on their own journey, and help them feel a little less alone. I’m really looking forward to it as it will not only create memories for myself, but I think it will allow us young parents to connect on a whole new level.

If you’d like to join me on this journey, I invite you to sign up through the link below. Signing up will grant you access to a private playlist and to an email list that will keep you updated on newly uploaded episodes.

 Disclaimer:

While I’m very excited to share my knowledge and experience with you. I also wanted to remind you that although I will mention developmental milestones, activities and talk about materials that can be introduced from certain weeks, they remain indications. Every child is different and unique and will develop at their own pace, and show interest in different activities and materials at different times. So please bear that in mind. The idea here is to inspire you, give you ideas, and remind you to enjoy getting to experience accompanying your little one discovering the world for the first time. <3

The Audio Diary” is a private podcast, in which you can have an exclusive look into how a Montessori expert and mother navigates creating intentional spaces for baby, integrating Maria Montessori’s philosophy, while experiencing normal parenting challenges.
